Kennel for a Bulldog

We suggest our large or extra large kennel for a Bulldog. Bulldogs can live up to 10 years, weigh up to 25kg and reach a height of up to 15 inches.

The Bulldog known also as the British Bulldog or English Bulldog is a medium sized dog which, as the name suggests, originates in England. They were originally bred as a fighting dog. It is an iconic symbol for Britain and was especially depicted for its “fighting spirit” during World War 1 and 2.

Despite their name and robust looks the Bulldog does actually make a lovely family pet. They are extremely tolerant dogs with a sweet and gentle nature. A Bulldog loves nothing more than lying on the couch beside their owner languishing in the attention and closeness that entails. Bulldogs are known to be stubborn and therefore can be hard to train.

Bulldogs like to sleep and eat and are averse to exercise. However, they do need regular exercise as they are prone to becoming overweight. Their short legs and thick set bodies gives the appearance of waddling rather than walking and it can seem like exercise is an effort for them. Monitor their food intake and feed at regular intervals rather than leaving food out continuously.
